ABOUT THE LIVING LIFE IN COSTA RICA BLOG

I (Vicki Skinner - aka "THE Sarong Goddess") created this blog in 2007 to share DETAILED Finds•Lists•Info•Events•Experiences to help bring more EASE to people living in, visiting or thinking of moving to Costa Rica since DETAILS are NOT easy to find!
I’m NOT an expert (an "expert" 2 ME knows 101%-NOT me). I believe in sharin info•helping where I can! And with over 2,200 entries, so some things might be out of date, so if you find old info PLEASE help each other by getting the updated info & sharing it with me to revise. At least you have some basic info to get you started.
VOLUNTEER TO HELP:
Better yet - do you have extra time on your hands & looking for a volunteer project? Since this blog is a labor of love & RARELY does anyone share a donation (even though MANY have said how much it's helped them), I could REALLY use help updating info. Spanish speakers ESPECIALLY welcome since my VicLish can be somewhat limited at times!!

DONATE:
Has my blog helped in any way? Helped find something•brought more EASE? More exposure or business?
I welcome you to show YOUR appreciation for my efforts!
ANY size DONATION is APPRECIATED!
(see below other ways to show your appreciation)
The easiest way is with PAYPAL - Attn: LivingLifeInCostaRica@gmail.com
(you do NOT need to have a PayPal account to do this - just a credit or debit card)
ADD INFORMATION:
Do YOU have/know of a Business•Event•News•Place•Things 4 Sale•Rent to add? Email:
LivingLifeInCostaRica@gmail.com

OTHER WAYS TO SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION FOR THIS BLOG

• Amazon.com or GoDaddy.com Credit•Gift Certificate (attn: SarongGoddess@gmail.com)
• Something else to share?? A gift certificate or invite for your business? I'm open!! (at times I'll add other things here that I'm seeking)

Professional Women's Networking Group - August Meeting - "Effective Cross-Cultural Communication in Business and Real Life" - August 18

Join the Professional Women's Networking Group of Costa Rica (a division of the Women's Club of Costa Rica) for a PWN workshop on:

"Effective Cross-Cultural Communication in
Business and Real Life"

This workshop will encourage open and honest dialogues on the many challenges encountered when people from different cultures meet and do business. Attendees will share dilemmas, find practical solutions to each perceived conflict, and discuss findings with others who are experiencing similar situations.

Our differences unite and connect us in business and daily life. Join them for this great opportunity to get to know ourselves better.

Beginner English speakers welcome!

TIN JO Restaurant (http://TinJo.com  •  http://facebook.com/TinJoRestaurant -  ON Calle 11 between Avenida 6 and 8 (de la Casa del Tornillo, 100 Oeste/West, 125 Norte/North - San Jose)

COMING FROM THE WEST SIDE:  Go straight up Avenida 10*** until you pass Feraguilar (ceramic tile place) on your left. Turn left at the next corner (Calle 11), and Tin Jo is a block and a half up on the left side.
***WARNING:  A friend just emailed me that a couple days ago when she attempted to travel down Avenida 10, and at parts (near the restaurant area) it was blocked with road construction so best to go down Avenida 2.  I'm going to verify where that is today and add it here and give an alternative route as it was a nightmare!!!

PARKING DIRECTIONS:
On-street parking is not permitted during the day, there are several parking lots in the immediate vicinity. The parking garage Parqueo Musical on Avenida 6 gives FREE PARKING to guests that have dined at Tin Jo so make sure to bring your Parking Ticket and give it to the Host up front to give it a Validation Stamp (note that especially if there's a large group meeting/gathering - this garage WILL fill up FAST!!!). There is also a parking lot on Calle 11 - 50 meters past/North of the restaurant (on your left).
