I (Vicki Skinner - aka "THE Sarong Goddess") created this blog in 2007 to share DETAILED Finds•Lists•Info•Events•Experiences to help bring more EASE to people living in, visiting or thinking of moving to Costa Rica since DETAILS are NOT easy to find!
I’m NOT an expert (an "expert" 2 ME knows 101%-NOT me). I believe in sharin info•helping where I can! And with over 2,200 entries, so some things might be out of date, so if you find old info PLEASE help each other by getting the updated info & sharing it with me to revise. At least you have some basic info to get you started.

I hear he's a GREAT Clown that does FUN balloons and he even works with kids in the hospital!!!   Plus he is a REAL SWEETIE with GREAT energy!!!!

Unfortunately he doesn't speak English (but he understands some [though most likely, this could be a fortunate thing as it could mean he doesn’t charge Gringo prices!!]).

(I know him because he’s the BEST Phlebotomist/blood sucker [at Laboratorio Clincio San Miguel in Centro Escazu] I have EVER EXPERIENCED ANYWHERE!!!  When he first did my tough vains - he gave me a poodle balloon afterwords because I was such a good girl and didn’t even flinch [because I didn’t even feel the needle go in and he got a gusher the first try!!!  AMAZING!!]!!)

Tell him Vicki referred ya (maybe next time I got for a blood test I'll get another balloon aminal!!)
